· For Pulse counting |
B Inputs detect and count the number of pulses within the set
record interval (or period).
- B inputs can be configured for voltage input or voltage-free
contacts. (<1v = low, >4v = high)
- Two ranges can be set, with either 1 count resolution or 10 count
resolution. If set to 10 count resolution and the actual number of counts in a
period is e.g. 58,367, this will be recorded as 58.36. Note the reading is
truncated, that is no rounding up or down.
- Type B input applications include flow rate, rain gauge (tipping
bucket type), contact closures etc.
