· Temperature Measurement using PRTs |
P Inputs are for use with Pt100, Platinum Resistance
Thermometers (PRTs).
- PRTs can provide high accuracy over a wide range of temperatures.
- As the Pt100 change in resistance is very small per ºC, special
consideration must be given to the interconnecting cables and method of
measurement. To minimise the effects of resistance and electrical pickup or
interference special connecting cables must be used.
- The Squirrel supports 2, 3 or 4 wire sensors. However for best
results 4 wire sensors should be used.
