CPU Module

Every 1000 series Squirrel data logger requires a main CPU Module which has the processor, the memory, the power connector, the display and the RS232 computer connection.

Inputs:

• 1 Pulse input
• 1 8-bit digital signal input
• RS232 serial input

Note; The serial data connector is a mini DIN socket and labelled "Output" on the Squirrel data logger. The connector is wired as two RS232 ports. One port is for connection to a PC or Modem and is always active. The second port can be used as an input for connection to an instrument generating serial data, e.g. a balance. Special firmware will be required to activate the second RS232 port.
