Telemetry Repeater RP250GD
The RP250GD repeater is housed in a discrete, rugged aluminium case with built in wall bracket and retains the GenII style. The RP250GD repeater located in the path to the central Receiver Logger will significantly extend the range of the transmitters, by receiving transmissions and re-transmitting them at maximum permitted transmit power. The RP250GD can be programmed using the software provided to accept or ignore transmitters, allowing system optimisation and reducing unnecessary on-air time. RP250GD can be used in tandem (in-line) or radial (serving clusters of transmitters) mode, with multiple repeaters permitted on the system. The repeater can be used with the supplied detachable antenna or an external antenna such as the LW-ANT/SMA light-weight dipole, available as an accessory. The LCD display provides a continuous indication of transmitter activity
together with signal strength. An “R” suffix indicates that
a transmitter has been configured to repeat. Battery standby The RP250GD is normally mains powered; however in the event of a mains
failure more than 72 hours battery standby is provided
by the in-built Ni-Mh battery pack.
