1. Directly Interfaced
The Squirrel enables cost effective direct connection to a whole range of sensor types including temperature, humidity, pH and conductivity with options for pulse, frequency and digital inputs (Ideal for logging contact closures, shaft rotation and digital output form a weighing scale respectively).

2. Using a Transducer
Sensors providing the industry standard 4-20mA output are similarly accommodated enabling other parameters to be logged - for example, Meteorological sensors (anemometer, rain precipitation, barometric pressure).
