How Eltek Ltd handles your personal data when you visit this website or get in touch. We keep it short, plain and accurate to how the site actually works.
Last updated: 3 July 2026
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Eltek Ltd (“Eltek”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales and part of Grant Instruments. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.
Registered address: Eltek Limited, Evolution House, Gateway, Unit 2 Durham Way, Royston, SG8 5GX, United Kingdom.
Contact: Use our contact form ·
Phone: +44 (0)1223 872111
2. Our website partner
Our website and marketing are built and operated on our behalf by our digital partner, Gameplan, acting as a data processor under our instructions and a written agreement. They only process personal data to run this site and our marketing for us, never for their own purposes.
3. The personal data we collect
We only collect what we need:
- Enquiry details. When you complete our contact form, we collect your name, email address, organisation (optional), the area you’re interested in (optional) and your message. These are sent securely to our enquiry endpoint and recorded in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, HubSpot, which is our system of record for enquiries. A copy of the submission is also held briefly in our hosting provider’s server logs as a delivery backstop.
- Usage data. Subject to your cookie choices (see section 5), we collect anonymous, aggregated information about how visitors use the site, for example pages viewed and approximate region, to help us improve it.
- Technical data. Our hosting and security providers process limited technical information (such as IP address) to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse.
We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and the site is not directed at children.
4. How we use your data, and our lawful bases
- To respond to your enquiry and provide what you ask for, lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries about our products and services.
- To run and secure the website, lawful basis: our legitimate interests in keeping the site available, secure and working correctly.
- To measure and improve the site with analytics, lawful basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time.
- To send you marketing, where you have asked us to or where permitted by law, lawful basis: your consent and/or our legitimate interests, subject to the rules in section 10.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies. When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential (analytics) cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are always on because the site can’t work properly without them; everything else loads only if you consent, and you can change your choice at any time via the banner.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Category | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
cc_cookie | Eltek (this site) | Stores your cookie-consent choices so the banner is not shown on every visit. | Strictly necessary | Up to 12 months |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes visitors and measures how the site is used. Set only after you accept analytics cookies. | Analytics (consent) | Up to 2 years |
_gid | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes visitors over a short period. Set only after you accept analytics cookies. | Analytics (consent) | 24 hours |
__hstc | HubSpot | Tracks visitors across sessions to provide aggregated analytics about site usage. Set only after you accept analytics cookies. | Analytics (consent) | Up to 6 months |
hubspotutk | HubSpot | Identifies a returning visitor for analytics purposes. Set only after you accept analytics cookies. | Analytics (consent) | Up to 6 months |
__hssc | HubSpot | Tracks activity within a single browsing session for analytics. Set only after you accept analytics cookies. | Analytics (consent) | 30 minutes |
__hssrc | HubSpot | Determines whether the browser was restarted between sessions. Set only after you accept analytics cookies, and removed when you close your browser. | Analytics (consent) | Session |
We also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for basic, aggregated performance measurement. These are cookieless, they set no cookies and do not track you across sites.
6. Analytics
Where analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the
site is used. GA4 runs in Google Consent Mode v2: until you accept analytics
cookies it sets no cookies and collects no identifiers, and it only begins setting the
_ga/_ga_* cookies once you consent. If you don’t consent, no analytics
cookies are ever set. We use GA4 for aggregated insight, not to identify you personally.
We also use HubSpot for visitor analytics and to run the live chat widget on this site. HubSpot operates under the same consent gate: no HubSpot analytics cookies are set until you accept analytics cookies, and if you don’t consent, none are ever set.
7. Bot and spam protection
Our website forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse and spam. To distinguish real visitors from bots, Turnstile may collect information about your device, browser and how you interact with the page; Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf as our processor, and its handling is governed by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in keeping our forms secure and free from automated abuse.
8. Who we share your data with
We don’t sell your data. We share it only with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:
- HubSpot, our CRM and analytics provider, where enquiries are stored and managed, and which provides visitor analytics and the live chat widget on this site, all under the same data-processing agreement.
- Vercel, our website hosting and the secure endpoint that receives form submissions.
- Cloudflare, which provides bot and spam protection on our website forms via Turnstile, acting as our processor under a data-processing agreement.
- Google, analytics (GA4), only with your consent.
Each acts as our processor under a data-processing agreement. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.
9. International transfers
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data-protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, so your data stays protected.
10. Marketing
We’ll only send you marketing where you’ve consented, or where you’re an existing contact and the law permits it. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us using the form at eltekdataloggers.co.uk/contact.
11. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and contact data for as long as we need it to respond to you and manage our relationship, typically up to six years from our last contact, in line with our legal, accounting and reporting obligations. When it’s no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it. Server-log backstops are short-lived and routinely rotated.
12. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
- have your data erased, where applicable;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- data portability; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the form at eltekdataloggers.co.uk/contact or write to us at the address above. We action data-subject requests against our CRM (HubSpot) and any backups, and we’ll respond within the timeframes set by law (usually one month).
13. Complaints
We’d like the chance to resolve any concern first, so please contact us. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data-protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
14. Changes to this notice
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top of the page. Please check back occasionally.
