Our story
Measurement is all we do, and we’ve done it for forty years
Eltek is the unified environmental monitoring and measurement platform for life science, industrial, museum & heritage and environmental applications. We design and build wireless monitoring systems, sensors, transmitters, hubs, alarms and the Darca Command cloud, that capture accurate environmental data and turn it into compliance, protection and peace of mind.
We’ve been doing it from the UK since 1985. From our base at Royston near Cambridge, our engineers design and manufacture hardware and software trusted in some of the country’s most demanding environments, from St Paul’s and Canterbury Cathedral to university biobanks, pharmaceutical cold chains and multi-site industrial estates.
Today Eltek is part of Grant Instruments, combining decades of UK engineering heritage with the scale and stability of a respected scientific-instruments group. Our quality system is ISO 9001:2015 certified, and our promise is simple: end-to-end expertise across the whole chain, from the sensor on the wall to the audit trail in the cloud.
