Meet the Team: Welcoming Catherine Firmin to the Eltek Team

We’re delighted to welcome Catherine Firmin to Eltek as our new Head of Marketing & Commercial Development.

Catherine brings more than 20 years of B2B marketing experience across technology, science, engineering and manufacturing, combining strategic marketing leadership with a strong commercial focus.

Before joining Eltek, Catherine spent three years at post-quantum cybersecurity company PQShield, where she led integrated marketing campaigns, international events, content, PR, digital marketing and partner activity. She helped build the company’s profile in an emerging global technology market and strengthen the connection between marketing, sales and commercial growth. Catherine has also run her own fractional marketing company, offering B2B & B2C marketing services across a variety of industries from Hospitality and Legal, to Manufacturing.

As Head of Marketing & Commercial Development and a member of the management team, Catherine will lead Eltek’s marketing and commercial-development strategy. Her role spans brand positioning, digital marketing, customer communications, sales enablement and pipeline development, alongside expanding Eltek’s presence in priority markets and strengthening its international distributor network. A particular focus will be helping more organisations understand the role reliable environmental monitoring plays in protecting critical environments, from priceless museum collections and historic buildings to life-science research, laboratories and temperature-sensitive materials.

Away from work, Catherine enjoys travelling the UK and Europe with her family, walking the dog, organising events for family and friends and reading or watching anything true crime related!
