GD72E: Wireless transmitter for light, humidity and temperature

The GD72E is a wireless GenII transmitter from Eltek that monitors light alongside humidity and temperature. It works with an LS70-S Lux and UV sensor on a flying lead plus an RH/T sensor, and transmits readings wirelessly into the Darca Solutions Suite, keeping light exposure and climate on one dashboard.

Eltek GD72E wireless GenII transmitter with green multi-channel A to F input terminal block and integrated display, for light, humidity and temperature monitoring

How it works

Light, humidity and temperature on one transmitter.

The GD72E pairs a Lux and UV light sensor with relative humidity and temperature sensing on a single wireless transmitter.

The LS70-S light sensor sits on a flying lead, so you can position it exactly where light levels need to be measured, while the transmitter sits nearby.

Monitoring light together with humidity and temperature suits light-sensitive collections and environments, where exposure as well as climate needs to be kept within limits.

As a GenII transmitter, the GD72E works within the full Darca Solutions Suite through your site's SRV450 hub, feeding readings into Darca Command.

For the wider context on keeping climate within limits around sensitive materials, see our complete guide to humidity monitoring.

Frequently asked questions

The GD72E is a wireless GenII transmitter from Eltek that works with an LS70-S Lux and UV light sensor plus an RH/T sensor, monitoring light alongside humidity and temperature and transmitting readings into the Darca Solutions Suite.

The GD72E measures light (Lux and UV) through the LS70-S sensor, plus relative humidity and temperature through its RH/T sensor.

The LS70-S is a Lux and UV light sensor on a flying lead, supplied for the GD72E, so the sensing element can be placed where light levels need to be measured.

Yes. The GD72E is a wireless GenII transmitter; the sensors connect to the unit by wire and the data link to the network is wireless.

Part of the Darca Solutions Suite

The GD72E is a GenII wireless transmitter in the Darca Collect layer. Readings flow through your site's connectivity hardware to Darca Command — the same cloud platform that manages all your other Eltek sensors, alarms, and compliance records.

Eltek has deployed more than 40,000 GenII wireless transmitters in field worldwide. Four decades of UK engineering. Since 1985.
